I was born October 25, in Appleton, WI. I grew up in the neighboring town of Kaukauna. There I attended Trinity Lutheran School for grades K to 8. Already in kindergarten I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I continued on to high school at Fox Valley Lutheran in Appleton. One of my fondest memories of there was marching in Lutheran Vanguard each summer. I graduated in 2002 and then went to Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. I graduated in 2006. On call day, I was assigned to teach grades K-4 and English Lutheran School in Viroqua, WI. (Viroqua is a small town about 45 minutes southeast of La Crosse.) I received and accepted the call to teach at St. Paul in 2010. Currently, I hold a teaching license in the state of Minnesota. I attend seminars and conferences throughout the school year and take classes each summer in order to keep my license current and to better myself as an educator. I am very excited about the upcoming school year and am looking forward to teaching God's children.
I am the oldest child in my family and have one sister. My mom and sister still live in the Fox Valley area while my dad has been enjoying the glory of heaven since 2006. My husband, Vince, and I were married in June of 2013. We welcomed our daughter, Megan, in August of 2014. I enjoy traveling with my family over the summer to places like Door County and Traverse City, MI. Someday, I hope to travel to the west coast. I enjoy reading and like going to movies. I like to be outside when the weather is warm. I like to bowl and play softball, but football is by far my favorite sport. (Go Pack!)
