UNITY Home Page

Unity is an organization that supports home, church, and school. Our members, programs, and activities support and serve the spiritual, educational, and physical needs of students, teachers, and family members.

What do we do?

Unity offers many events for the families of St. Paul’s including movie night, fall festival, spring dance, Bingo night, speakers, and grandparent/parent breakfast. Unity also helps assist room parents with classroom needs. We also coordinate the St. Paul's Eagles Spirit Wear orders 2-3 times per year.

Unity also supports the staff in ways that are not as visible like providing staff meals during parent-teacher conferences, coordinates gifts for Christmas and Teacher Appreciation Week, and other things.

Please stop by our table at iFASST Day in August to get a list of our events and we hope that many parents will continue to sign-up to volunteer. We would not be able to do many of the activities we have come to love without the help of our volunteers. Some of the opportunities to volunteer include:

Library Help - Volunteers are needed in the school library to assist the students with checking out books and shelving returned books. If you are willing to volunteer your time and talents just one or two afternoons per month from 12:45 – 3:00 pm, please consider signing up.

Hot Lunch Volunteers - Volunteers are needed to help service hot lunch. This is fun and rewarding, plus you get to know the wonderful children at our school. Serve once a week, once every other week, or once a month, as your schedule allows. The time commitment is from 10:30 – 12:45 pm. Volunteers also receive credit toward your child's/grandchild's hot lunch account each time you serve. Training will be provided.

Concession Volunteers - Does your child participate in one of the many sports activities at St. Paul's? Did you know that money raised from concessions not only helps with all school activities throughout the school year but also helps to pay for uniforms. Please consider signing up to work concessions. Shifts are 30-90 minutes long. Training will be provided.

Room Parents - A room parent works directly with the teacher to organize and recruit other parents for specific tasks or events held in that classroom. Information will be provided if you decide being a room parent is right for you.

All School Events - These events include Fall Fest, Spring Dance, Movie Nights and the Parent/Grandparent Breakfast. Help is always needed for planning, decorating, concessions and clean-up. There are also opportunities to help by providing food for staff lunches, prekindergarten open house and other various events throughout the year.

Box Tops - St. Paul's participates in the Box Tops for Education Program. Please clip box tops and send them to school with your child. There are collection cans in each classroom. This year we have a school goal to raise $2,000, that is 20,000 box tops. If we reach our goal, there will be an all school celebration. Thanks for your support!

We look forward to a wonderful school year and we ask God's blessing on Unity's work this year.
