Julie Shevey - 6th-8th grade
I was born and raised in Wisconsin and graduated from Northwestern Prep (Watertown, WI) in 1991. I received my BS in elementary education from Dr. Martin Luther College (New Ulm, MN) in 1995. After college, I married Wayne Shevey in 1995, and taught 5th
grade and 3rd
grade at St.Paul’s in Franklin.
My family and I moved to Dardenne Prairie, MO in 1997 when my husband received a call to start a new church there. While in MO, I was a stay-at-home mom and did a lot of work with preschool children and the church. I moved back to WI in 2013 when my husband received a call to be a campus pastor at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
I have four children: Morgan (1996), Kaylyn (1998), Marisa (2001) and Elijah (2003). I love children and enjoy teaching, volleyball, running/fitness, reading, making cards, and being creative.
I am the 6th grade homeroom teacher and also teach ELA, music and art for grades 6-8 at St. Pauls. I am excited to teach and to have the opportunity to nurture God's children!
